The compressed air contractor1 must appoint a contract medical adviser2 to give advice to him on all aspects of health relevant to the work in compressed air3 undertaken4; but nothing in this provision prevents the appointment of an appointed doctor5 to be the contract medical adviser6.
Every employer must ensure that each of his employees7 who works in compressed air is under adequate medical surveillance by an appointed doctor or employment medical adviser8; and where an employee is to be assigned
