Pressure systems are subject to the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 20001 which came into force on 21 February 20002. For the purposes of the 2000 Regulations, 'pressure system' means:
(1) a system comprising one or more pressure vessels of rigid construction, any associated pipework3 and protective devices4;
(2) the pipework with its protective devices to which a pressure receptacle, an old pressure receptacle or transportable pressure equipment5 is, or is intended to be, connected; or
(3) a pipeline6 and its protective devices,
which contains or is liable to contain a relevant fluid7, but does not include a pressure receptacle, an
