228. Transfer of whole.

A transfer of the whole of a registered title must be in Land Registry Form TR1 (or, in the case of a transfer under power of sale, TR2)1.

The title number and description of the property (the postal address including the post code), must be inserted in the form. The document is left undated until actual completion.

The seller's name should be stated as it appears on the proprietorship register of the title. If the seller is not the current registered proprietor (for example, on a sub-sale), the seller's name should be inserted as it appears in, for example, his transfer.
