The landlord's offer can be accepted by a simple majority of the qualifying tenants on the basis of one vote per flat let to qualifying tenants in the building1. The tenants must nominate a person to deal with the landlord within the periods for acceptance and nomination specified in the landlord's notice2. Acceptance by the qualifying tenants must be by written notice served on the landlord within the period specified in the offer and must specify the names and addresses of all the persons serving the notice3.
