Although requisitions are commonly raised before exchange of contracts1, in the period between exchange of contracts and completion the buyer's solicitor will normally raise standard form requisitions of the seller2, most of which relate to the administrative arrangements for completion but will also deal with confirmation that the seller's mortgage on the property will be discharged on or before completion and that the answers given to enquiries before contract remain correct. They may also include queries as to the form of the purchase deed3.
