384. Searches before completion.

Searches before completion form part of the investigation of title procedure and should be strictly carried out before a report on title or certificate is submitted to the lender. If not, the report on title or certificate should be qualified by a statement saying that the report is given subject to the results of such searches being satisfactory1.
