If a rentcharge capable of subsisting as a legal interest is granted out of a registered title, the disposition must be completed by registration to be legally effective1. The compulsory first registration provisions do not apply to rentcharges but they may be registered voluntarily2. If it appears to the registrar3 that a right to determine a registered rentcharge is exercisable he may enter notice of the fact in the register4.
