Legal charges created by a company are registrable at the Land Registry1 (or the Land Charges Department2 in the case of a charge over unregistered land which is not supported by a deposit of title deeds) and, as a separate obligation in relation to any charge on land, at Companies House3 under the Companies Act 20064.
