A conveyance1 on a sale by trustees overreaches the equitable interests2 of the beneficiaries, and in certain cases by statute the conveyance overreaches equitable interests which existed prior to the trust of land3. A similar effect is given to a conveyance made by a tenant for life under his statutory powers, and such a conveyance may also overreach certain legal estates4. An overreaching effect is also given to a conveyance of the legal estate
