115. Other documents to be included in the abstract or epitome.

From the root of title¹, all dealings with the legal and equitable interests in the land must be shown in the abstract or epitome, providing an unbroken chain of ownership stretching from the seller named in the root document to the present seller. This includes the following:

1.  

   (1)     conveyances on sale and by gift;

2.  

   (2)     current leases;

3.  

   (3)     evidence of devolutions on death (death certificates, grants of representation, assents);

4.  

   (4)     change of name of an estate owner (for example marriage certificate, deed poll or statutory declaration);

5.  

   (5)     mortgages and discharge of legal mortgages;
