The following points should be checked on the official copies of the title:
(1) on the property register:
(a) that the description of the land accords with the contract description;
(b) that the title number corresponds with that given on the contract;
(c) whether the estate is freehold or leasehold;
(d) easements enjoyed by the property (if they are entered on the register)1;
(e) whether any land has been removed from the title and if so whether the removal affects the land being purchased;
(2) on the proprietorship register:
(a) whether the class of title is correct;
