Once the initial notice has been served on the reversioner he has a right of access to the premises for the purposes of valuation1 and to require evidence from the nominee purchaser2 of title to the qualifying tenants' leases3. The nominee purchaser must respond to the reversioner's request within 21 days, in default of which the notice is deemed to be withdrawn4. The reversioner is required to serve a counter-notice on the nominee purchaser within the time limit specified in the initial notice
