221. Free transfer.

Any condition which provides for the transfer or the registration of the buyer's title to be prepared or carried out at the buyer's expense by a solicitor appointed by or acting for the seller or which might restrict a buyer in his choice of solicitor is void1. It is, however, lawful for the seller to reserve the right to provide a form of transfer from which a draft can be prepared, and to charge a reasonable fee for it
