The Law Society's Code for Completion by Post2 should be used. In cases where the Law Society Conveyancing Protocol3 applies, the solicitors for both parties should comply with the Code without variations unless instructions are given by the seller and buyer and the variations are specific to the needs of the individual transaction4.
