The Hague-Visby Rules1 apply where:
(1) the port of shipment of the voyage is a port in the United Kingdom2, whether or not the carriage is between ports in two different states3;
(2) whether or not the voyage is between ports in two different states, the contract contained in or evidenced by the bill of lading expressly provides that the Rules are to govern the contract4;
(3) whether or not the voyage is between ports in two different states, the contract for the carriage of goods by sea evidenced by a receipt which is a non-negotiable document marked as
