119. Time limits and method for making complaints of damage or delay to baggage or cargo.

In the case of damage1 to baggage or cargo, the person entitled to delivery must complain to the carrier forthwith after the discovery of the damage and at the latest within seven days2 from the date of receipt3 (in the case of checked baggage4) or 14 days from the date of receipt (in the case of cargo)5. In the case of delay, the complaint must be made at the latest within 21 days from the date on which the baggage or cargo has been placed at the carrier's disposal
