599. Rights of disabled persons and persons of reduced mobility to assistance.

Provision has been made¹ for assistance for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility² using passenger services at sea³.

Subject to the access conditions⁴, carriers⁵ and terminal operators⁶ must, within their respective areas of competence, provide assistance⁷ free of charge to disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility⁸ in ports⁹, including embarkation and disembarkation, and on board ships¹⁰ provided that:
