Where a contract of carriage1 is made in the United Kingdom2, or a place in the United Kingdom is the place of departure, the carrier3 must4 before departure give to the passengers notice of the provisions of the Athens Convention relating to:
(2) the limit of liability for personal injury6;
(3) the limit of liability for loss of, or damage to, luggage7; and
(4) notice of loss or damage to luggage8.
It is sufficient compliance with these requirements if the notice contains a statement that:
(a) the provisions of the Convention may be applicable9;
