Provision has been made1 for re-routing and reimbursement to be provided to persons using passenger services2 at sea in the event of interrupted travel3.
Where a carrier4 reasonably expects a passenger service to be cancelled or delayed in departure from a port terminal5 for more than 90 minutes, the passenger must immediately be offered the choice between:
(1) re-routing to the final destination, under comparable conditions, as set out in the transport contract6, at the earliest opportunity and at no additional cost7; or
(2) reimbursement of the ticket8 price and, where relevant, a return service free of charge to the
