After arrival of the goods at the place designated for delivery, the consignee is entitled to require the carrier to deliver to him, against a receipt, the second copy of the consignment note1 and the goods2. From that time on the carrier is bound to obey the orders of the consignee3. If the loss of the goods is established4, or in a case of delay5, the consignee is entitled to enforce in his own name any rights arising from the contract of carriage
