Unless the contract otherwise provides1, the adjustment of the amount to be contributed by the respective interests is determined by the law of the place where the adjustment is to be made2, that is to say, at the place where under the contract the voyage is to terminate3. The adjustment may take place at a port of refuge if the voyage is abandoned there by agreement or by necessity4, but not otherwise5.
