The following provisions apply to air-conditioning systems1 with an effective rated output2 of more than 12kW3. Where the relevant person4 has the power to control the temperature of more than one individual air-conditioning unit in a building, each unit is considered to be a component of a single air-conditioning system for these purposes5.
It is the duty of the relevant person in relation to an air-conditioning system referred to in the above provisions applies to ensure that accessible parts of the system are inspected by an energy assessor at regular intervals not exceeding five years and the first inspection
