Where a public body's final certificate1 given in respect of work described in a public body's notice2 is rejected, the public body's notice ceases to be in force in relation to the work described in the public body's final certificate on the expiry of a period of four weeks beginning with the date on which notice of rejection is given3.
Where work described in a public body's notice includes the erection, extension or material alteration4 of a building5, and the building or, as the case may be, the extension or any part of the building which has been materially altered
