An energy assessor1 must be a member of an accreditation scheme2 approved by the appropriate national authority3.
An energy assessor must include in an energy performance certificate or inspection report a declaration of any personal or business relationship (other than in relation to producing the certificate or inspection report) that he has with:
(1) the person who commissioned the certificate or inspection report4;
(2) any person on whose behalf the certificate or inspection report was commissioned5; and
(3) any person who the energy assessor believes has or may have a personal or business relationship with a person referred to in
