The architect has a lien on the plans and drawings prepared by him, and need not deliver them up until he is paid1, and may bring a claim for his fees although he still retains the plans. Even if he demands more than a reasonable fee for the plans, and that is refused, he is not precluded from bringing a claim for his charges and recovering reasonable remuneration
