233.     Implied terms.

In a building contract there are four principal ways in which a term will be implied:

  1.  

    (1)     implication by statute1;

  2.  

    (2)     implication to make the contract work2;

  3.  

    (3)     implication of 'usual terms'3; or

  4.  

    (4)     implication by custom4.
