The corporation that is known as the Channel 4 Television Corporation ('C4C')1 consists of:
(1) a chairman and a deputy chairman appointed by Ofcom2 with the approval of the Secretary of State3; and
(2) such number of other members, not being less than 11 nor more than 13, as Ofcom may from time to time determine4.
The other members referred to under head (2) above consist of persons appointed by Ofcom with the approval of the Secretary of State5, and ex officio members of the corporation6.
