There is a Board of the BBC1 which, acting collectively, is responsible for the proper, effective and independent exercise of all the functions of the BBC in accordance with the provisions set out in the Charter and the Framework Agreement2, and the Board has all the functions expressly or impliedly conferred upon it elsewhere by or under the Charter or the Framework Agreement3. The Board may obtain independent advice to support the exercise of its functions4.
