305. Regulatory authority's power to demand information from providers of on-demand programme services.

The appropriate regulatory authority1 may require a person who appears to it to be or to have been a provider of an on-demand programme service2 and to have information3 that it requires for a purpose that falls within heads (1), (1A) and (2) below to provide the authority with all such information as it considers necessary for that purpose4, namely:

(1)     the purposes of an investigation which the authority is carrying out in order for it to be determined whether a contravention under any of heads (a) to (c) below has occurred or is occurring, namely: (a) a contravention of
