327. Quotas for independent productions and original productions applied to programming of public service television.

The regulatory regime for every licensed public service channel1 includes the conditions that Ofcom2 considers appropriate for securing that, in each year, not less than 25 per cent of the total amount of time allocated to the broadcasting of qualifying programmes3 included in the channel is allocated to the broadcasting of a range and diversity of independent productions4.
