A multiplex licence1 continues in force2 for a period of 12 years3.
A multiplex licence granted within six years of 1 October 19964 may be renewed on one occasion in accordance with these provisions for a period of 12 years beginning with the date on which it would otherwise expire5. Such an application for the renewal of a multiplex licence may be made by the licence holder6 not earlier than four years before the date on which it would otherwise cease to be in force and not later than the day
