A digital television programme licence1 continues in force2 until it is surrendered by its holder3.
Any licence granted under Part I of the Broadcasting Act 19964 (which includes a digital television programme licence) may include:
(1) such conditions as appear to Ofcom5 to be appropriate having regard to any duties which are or may be imposed on it6, or on the licence holder, by or under the Broadcasting Act 1990, or the Broadcasting Act 1996, or the Communications Act 20037;
(2) conditions requiring the licence holder to provide Ofcom, in
