A person born in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory1 on or after 1 January 19832, who is and always has been stateless3, is entitled to be registered as a British overseas territories citizen if: (1) an application for his registration is made when he is under 22 years old4; (2) he was in the United Kingdom or a British overseas territory at the beginning of the period of five years ending with the date of application; (3) during that period he has not been absent from both the United Kingdom and the British overseas territories for
