Except with the permission of the court1, a notice2 by the trustee in bankruptcy claiming for the bankrupt's estate3 any property which has been acquired by, or has devolved on, the bankrupt since the commencement of the bankruptcy4 may not be served after the end of the period of 42 days beginning with the day on which it first came to the knowledge of the trustee that the property in question had been acquired by, or had devolved on, the bankrupt5.
