A trustee who ceases to be in office in consequence of removal1, resignation2 or ceasing to be qualified to act as an insolvency practitioner3in relation to the bankrupt, must as soon as reasonably practicable deliver to the successor as trustee:
(1) the assets of the bankrupt's estate, after deduction of any expenses properly incurred, and distributions made, by the trustee;
