A member of the creditors' committee may resign by informing the trustee in writing1.
A person's membership of the creditors' committee is automatically terminated if that person:
(1) becomes bankrupt, in which case the person's trustee in bankruptcy replaces the bankrupt as a member of the committee;
(2) is a person to whom a moratorium period under a debt relief order applies2;
(3) neither attends nor is represented at three consecutive meetings, unless it is resolved at the third of those meetings that this is not to apply in that person's case; or
