If it appears to the court, on consideration of any evidence obtained under examination1, that any person has in his possession any property comprised in the bankrupt's estate2, the court may, on the application of the official receiver or the trustee of the bankrupt's estate3, order that person to deliver the whole or any part of the property to the official receiver or the trustee at such time, in such manner and on such terms as the court thinks fit4.
