Where the trustee intends to vacate office, whether by resignation or otherwise, and as a result there will be a vacancy in the office of trustee (so that the official receiver is trustee until the vacancy is filled1), the trustee must give notice of that intention to the official receiver at least 21 days before the trustee intends to vacate office2.
The notice must include the following details of any property which has not been realised, applied, distributed or otherwise fully dealt with in the bankruptcy:
