695.     Landlord's claim against enforcement officer.

Where an enforcement officer has seized and sold goods of a debtor in pursuance of a writ of execution in respect of a judgment for a sum exceeding £1,000, and during the 14 days for which he is obliged to hold the proceeds he receives notice that a bankruptcy order made against the debtor, the claim of the official receiver or trustee to the proceeds of sale1 will be postponed to the landlord's claim against the enforcement officer for rent2.
