The Insolvency Rules Committee1 continues to exist for the purposes of being consulted by the Lord Chancellor before he makes rules2. The committee must consist of:
(1) a judge of the High Court attached to the Chancery Division;
(2) a circuit judge;
(3) an Insolvency and Companies Court Judge;
(4) a district judge;
(5) a practising barrister;
(6) a practising solicitor; and
(7) a practising accountant3.
The Lord Chief Justice must appoint the persons referred to in heads (1) to (4) above, after consulting the Lord Chancellor; and the Lord Chancellor must appoint the persons referred to in heads (5)
