An adjudicator1 has jurisdiction to determine a bankruptcy application2 only if the centre of the debtor's main interests3 is in England and Wales, or the centre of the debtor's main interests is not in a member state of the European Union which has adopted the EU Insolvency Regulation4 but the alternative jurisdiction test5 is met6.
