6. Courts having jurisdiction.

For the purposes of the provisions of the Insolvency Act 1986 relating to the insolvency or bankruptcy of individuals1, the High Court and the County Court have jurisdiction throughout England and Wales2; and the County Court has, in addition to its ordinary jurisdiction, all the powers and jurisdiction of the High Court, and the orders of the court may be enforced accordingly in the prescribed manner3.
