A bankruptcy restrictions undertaking comes into force on being accepted by the Secretary of State1, and ceases to have effect at the end of a date specified in the undertaking2. The date specified must not be before the end of the period of two years beginning with the date on which the undertaking is accepted, or after the end of the period of 15 years beginning with that date3.
