There are four types of bailment for valuable consideration:
(1) hire of custody, in which possession of a chattel is transferred temporarily with the object of transferring custody1;
(2) hire of work and labour, in which one of the two contracting parties undertakes to do something to a chattel, for example, to carry it or repair it, in consideration of a reward to be given to him
