The pilot in command1 must only use aerodromes2 and operating sites that are adequate for the type of aircraft3 and operation concerned4.
In relation to a visual flight rules flight5, the pilot in command must only commence or continue the flight if:
(1) the latest available meteorological information indicates that the weather conditions along the route and at the intended destination aerodrome at the estimated time of use will be at or above the applicable Visual Flight Rules operating minima6; and
(2) the pilot in command has planned an alternative course
