The Air Traffic Management and Unmanned Aircraft Act 2021 Pt 3 provides for new powers for constables to allow them to better enforce offences relating to unmanned aircraft in the Air Navigation Order 2016, SI 2016/765 and certain offences in the Prison Act 1952. This includes power to require an unmanned aircraft to be grounded, to stop and search persons or vehicles in specific circumstances, to enter and search premises under warrant, to require production of evidence and information, to inspect unmanned aircraft and to issue fixed penalty notices in certain situations.
