The Civil Aviation Authority ('CAA')1 may allow the transfer of an air transport licence or route licence2 if the sole holder has died3, or in connection with the reconstruction of a body corporate or the amalgamation of any bodies corporate4. The procedure is the same as that of an application for the variation of a licence5. No transfer is allowed if the CAA would be bound6 to refuse to grant a licence to the proposed transferee7.
