A 'slot' is the permission given by a co-ordinator in accordance with the legislation relating to slot co-ordination1 to use the full range of airport infrastructure necessary to operate an air service at a co-ordinated airport2 on a specific date and time for the purpose of landing or take-off as allocated by a co-ordinator in accordance with the legislation3.
