1037. Security planning for aerodromes.

There must be an aerodrome security plan1 in force in relation to aerodromes to which the Aviation Security Act 1982 Pt 2A applies2 at all times after the period of 9 months beginning with the day by which the security executive group3 for the aerodrome is required to be established4.

For the purposes of the monitoring arrangements, the aerodrome security plan may specify steps ('monitoring steps') to be taken by the following persons5:

  1.  

    (1)     the manager of the aerodrome6;

  2.  

    (2)     the chief officer of police for the relevant police area7;

  3.  

    (3)     any operator of an aircraft that takes off from,
