All aircraft1 in flight and fitted with anti-collision lights intended to attract attention to the aircraft2 must display such lights during the day3.
(1) taxiing4 or being towed on the movement area of an aerodrome and fitted with anti-collision lights intended to attract attention to the aircraft5; or
(2) on the movement area of an aerodrome and fitted with lights to indicate their engines are running6,
must display such lights during day7.
A pilot is permitted to switch off or reduce the intensity of any flashing lights fitted to meet the above requirements if they do or are likely to
